Lucy Buckman

Lucy Buckman joins Concern Worldwide US from USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance where she spent 3 years on the Syria response in D.C. and Amman, Jordan, and most recently served on the East Asia Pacific team. In 2018, she was also a Research Intern for the Center of Strategic Studies in Amman Jordan, where she conducted independent research on the success of large-scale USAID-funded development projects in Jordan. Lucy graduated from George Washington University in 2019 with a BA in International Development. Though a native of Pittsburgh, PA, Lucy is currently based in Maryland and will be relocating to New York.
