Our Funders
Concern Worldwide U.S. is an independent affiliate of Concern Worldwide and supports the global Concern network by raising funds from the U.S. government, private foundations, corporations, and the general public. We also recruit staff, raise public awareness of humanitarian issues, and provide technical support to Concern programs.
U.S. Government
Concern’s partnership with the U.S. Government provides vital financial support to more than three dozen humanitarian and poverty alleviation programs across 12 countries. Amid increasingly violent conflict and frequent climate shocks, we are especially grateful for the $64 million in funds received from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the US Department of State in 2022. These programs saved countless lives, helped vulnerable communities recover from disaster, and helped us tackle extreme poverty by enhancing nutrition, bolstering agriculture production, providing clean water and sanitation, supporting education, and many other goals.
